Thank you so much for your interest in submitting a guest post on The Fresh Fridge! The following is a list of requirements to help you know what to submit. Please look over the requirements and send me an e-mail if you would are interested in submitting a post at: thefreshfridge@gmail.com

  1. The Fresh Fridge – What are we all about?
    • Quick meals – usually taking less than 30 minutes to make.
    • Fun treats – yummy desserts and fun/interesting food creations that are both delicious and visually appealing.
    • Seasonal – we like to stick with recipes that fit right in with the season; e.g. pumpkin pie smack dab in the middle of Fall is perfect.
    • Easy-to-find ingredients: rule of thumb, if you can find it in the grocery store, you can use it in this recipe.
  2. Content:
    • 400 words minimum / 800 words maximum (not including recipe).
    • Please do not format the text, as I will take care of that.
    • If you have any special requests for formatting, please let me know in an email and I will let you know if it is accepted.
  3. Content topics:
    • Why this recipe is special, delicious, and must be made!
    • You can submit personal stories as long as they fit in with the recipe.
  4. Recipe:
    • Must include all ingredients
    • Must include all directions
    • Must include serving size information
    • You can also include: special tips, dietary considerations, and other information as applicable
  5. Photography:
    • Must include at least (2) high quality images of the recipe.
    • All photography must be original photographs.
    • Photo size must be at least be 700 pixels wide.
    • Photography attribution will be given to you, the photographer.
    • Photos used may be linked back to your guest post on The Fresh Fridge on sites such as Tastespotting, Foodgawker, and others as applicable.
  6. Source(s):
    • If the recipe was adapted from another source, a link and all source information must be provided for attribution purposes.
  7. Links:
    • The only acceptable links will be a single link back to your blog site and a single link for recipe attribution, if applicable.
    • Any other links are subject to approval.
  8. Publishing Policy:
    • The guest post belongs solely to The Fresh Fridge
    • The guest post will be credited fully to the author of the post (you)
    • The guest post may not be republished anywhere else without written permission from The Fresh Fridge.
