I have had so much fun celebrating birthday “float week” on The Fresh Fridge! We are officially starting Year 2 for The Fresh Fridge and that means more yummy food is on the way.
Here is a little re-cap of the last week:
Day 1 – Apple Cider Floats
Day 2 – Black & Blue Floats
Day 3 – Caramel Hot Chocolate Floats
Day 4 – Raspberry Orange Sherbet Floats
Day 5 – Guinness Extra Stout Floats
So, what’s next??? I wanted to share a little bit of what we have planned ahead with all of you. First, some of you many have noticed some different ads popping up lately on The Fresh Fridge. Recently, we have been asked to join a new advertising network, BlogHer! I am so excited to share some of the great things that BlogHer offers with all of you this next year, they are an amazing network of women who are passionate about food, life, and much more!
Photography: In the upcoming year, we have been trying to focus our efforts on photography and tasty visuals. We love photography and have decided to continue to have lots of fun shooting one of our favorite subjects – food! We are also compiling our efforts to put together a few tutorials of some of our favorite food photography practices that work especially well in a low-lit, tiny apartment setting.
Cooking/Blogging: Of course, I will be hunting my favorite cookbooks (and racking my brain) to come up with delicious recipes to share with all of you! My focus will be recipes that are super yummy and also quick and easy. My goal is to maximize the time in & out of the kitchen in order to focus on enjoying time with family while still having a great meal!
Giveaway!! I hope everyone has enjoyed the celebration this week as much as we have! (I admit I am a bit exhausted, but I have loved every minute!) To celebrate even further we are ending the week with a BIG “Thank You!!” to all of you who have made our last year so much fun. So, we a giving away a $25 Amazon gift card to one lucky follower! Woohoo!
I decided to give away a gift card to Amazon since it is my “go-to” online store for all of the odds & ends I always end up “needing” for my cooking adventures. Plus, sometimes I can score an amazing deal (aka Kitchen Aid mixers this week marked down as low as 40% off+ free shipping!!).
Since, I have a gigantic list of items I love on Amazon, I even created my very own The Fresh Fridge Favorites Store! Check it out for all of the stuff I love to have in my kitchen!
AND THE WINNER IS…Maria! Congratulations and thank you to all who participated!
Good luck!
